Do we sell Fair Trade Products?

Just One Africa offers a collection of fair trade products which are handmade by artisans in Kenya. We support sustainable community development by ensuring that the people making our products are paid a price they set.

We make it easy for you to improve peoples’s lives around the world and shop responsibly through our online store and fundraising programs. By choosing to purchase from our community you’re helping to eradicate poverty, promote social justice, and provide clean, safe water to those in need.

Why do we sell the items we sell?

We sell many handmade products by artisans in Kenya. For instance, we sell the recycled paper bead products as a means of bringing sustainable income to the Masai women artisans who create the beads so they can care for their children and others at risk. 100% of the profits of these products go back into our Clean Water program.

All of our Handmade Treasures support our Sustainability Programs and our Apparel products all support our Educational Programs.

Here's an example of how our products give back: The purchase of a single bracelet provides 200,000 gallons of clean water and 5 bracelets provide 1 million gallons! That is pretty awesome, right? The profit from 5 bracelets will provide one water filter to a family in need. While the women are busy beading, our local leaders spend time sharing on a number of important health, family life, and educational-based topics with them.

Who doesn't love a TRIPLE give back? All of a sudden changing the world doesn't seem too hard! You can be a part of it all.
